Joanne grew up in Truro, NS, graduating from CEC in 1988. Choosing to further her studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English in 1992. With a keen interest in law, Joanne went on to the UNB School of Law later that same year, and in 2005, joined Ron at the law practice as a legal and administrative assistant.
Ron Chisholm has practiced law in Truro Nova Scotia for more than 25 years. He articled with Patterson Kitz, then worked for 3 years as an associate in a smaller firm before founding the partnership Yuill Chisholm Law Firm. For the next 12 years he built a successful practice engaging primarily in litigation, either civil, criminal or divorce, and established a successful real Estate Practice.
John grew up in Carroll’s Corner in the Musquodoboit Valley Area, graduating from Musquodoboit Rural High School in 2005. In 2006 he furthered his studies at NSCC through various computer related courses before pursuing a paralegal Diploma at Success College. Prior to graduating with his diploma in September of 2008, John completed a work term under the tutelage of Ron Chisholm.
With John’s calm and approachable demeanour, coupled with his organizational skills and diligent work ethic, Ron hired him as a legal/administrative assistant as soon as he graduated.
While not at the office, you can usually find John reading a good book at the library or at our local movie theatre watching movies.
